Margaux de Penfentenyo

French artist and designer
Born in Paris, 1990 - Lives and works in Miami, USA.

After graduating in interior architecture and design from "l’École Camondo" in 2014, she decided to change her life and move to Mexico City in 2016. This new adventure opened up the creative field: she created her first pieces of furniture by imagining the concept and furnishings of a restaurant designed as a movie set. A few years later, she launched her first signature collection: Landscape lamps.

She also developed a Textile collection based on her paintings, Textile becoming one of her favorite materials. She continued her journey to Zurich in 2023, where she teamed up with a Swiss cabinetmaker for the re-edition of the Landscape lamp.

Nourished by the many encounters and links she has forged during her various travels, she produces high-quality one-off pieces or small series, respectful of the environment (through the use of natural, recyclable or recycled materials, sourced locally) and of people.

. Each time, she makes it a point of honor to collaborate with indigenous communities and leading craftsmen, promoting their independence, the preservation of local know-how and cultural diversity. Her palette of colors is like a text without words, her creations the medium of a joy she hopes is universal.
