In this same perspective, founder Lidwine Rupp, aware of the responsibility of the creator, and in line with the current decarbonize culture, sets up her premises in the heart of artists' studios in transitional sites undergoing rehabilitation. culture, sets up her premises in the heart of artists' studios in transitional sites undergoing rehabilitation.
Missions
- To support and reveal emerging talents to a diverse public (collectors, amateurs, the curious, professionals or businesses) by proposing works that carry lasting values.
- To act as a link between artists and a public in search of meaning.
- To be an “actor of change”. Art has the power to change the world and benefit communities as a whole. The art market has a “responsibility” to play its part.
The founder
After living and working for 20 years in France and internationally (USA, UK) in the luxury and interior decoration sectors, and in light of the minimal ecological awareness and mobilization in this field, especially within the context of a pandemic and systemic crisis, Lidwine Rupp feels the necessity and desire to open a gallery that combines her passion for art with her social and environmental ethics.
With a background in Law, Art History, and Commerce, Lidwine specializes in the Art Market and begins her training in contemporary art and architectural furniture galleries. Later, while working with a cabinetmaker creator, she discovers the world of the workshop and the reality of artisanal and sustainable production. It is from this symbiosis that Lidwine draws her model for a contemporary art and creators' gallery, nomadic and ethical. A change on the outside, operated from the inside.
