Noémie Sauve
Designer and sculptor, lives and works in Paris, France
With her protean artistic work (drawing, sculpture, performance), Noémie Sauve cultivates a damaged figurative line through which she seeks to develop an iconography of archaeological and contemporary fantasies on the issue of domestication
(of the elements, the animal and its environment).
Her work is regularly exhibited in galleries and art fairs (Drawing Now, YIA art fair, Art Paris). She also creates disconographic performances, which consist in staging her visual work in different situations inspired by the work itself, either on stage or in the streets. In 2017, she was selected by the jury of Tara Pacific for an artistic residency on Tara, the scientific schooner funded by Tara Expeditions Foundation & Agnès b.
Her artistic work also leads her to participate to numerous initiatives within connected fields. She supports Clinamen, an organization which energizes the urban territories by promoting farming practices, as well as the urban shepherds in Île de France. She notably cofounded the FACAC ( Clinamen’s Agricultural Contemporary Art Fund).
